I’ve enjoyed watching the Calleta Silkmoths for the last month or so. They were in a mating season about a month ago and I saw many land on a bush outside where they laid eggs. I watched the eggs for them to hatch. I’ve been keeping an eye on the caterpillars there, waiting for them to grow large enough to make a chrysalis. It kills me how incredibly delicate moths and butterflies are yet they seem to survive everything. The epitome of resilience.
