I heard someone recently defend rapists saying it was unfair for them to face social consequences outside of the law and now I hear people defending Prince Andrew saying that they don’t believe he raped anyone on Epstein’s island or plane because there is no physical proof.
When Monica Lewinsky had proof, she was called a whore and had her reputation and career destroyed for having proof… But people be mad about the fact that a victim of child sexual slavery didn’t have proof from 20 years ago??? Okay……
Let me break it down to facts:
In just the United States alone one half of all women have experienced sexual violence at the hands of a man and only 20% of incidents reported to reporting agencies that track such things which are only estimated to be one third of all incidents total are ever reported to the police. Every other woman you see in the grocery store has been raped. Every other female you see at church has been raped. Every other woman. Is it sinking in yet?? If you have two daughters one of them is likely to be raped at least one time in their life. If you have four then two of them are. Every other woman……
About 93% of these incidents against women are perpetrated by someone the victim knows and already has some level of trust or acquaintance in. “Oh, but I saw a picture with them smiling together.” That don’t mean she wanted to have sex. Knowing someone’s name does not mean wanting to have sex but it does increase the chance of being raped by them……
One third of all rape victims will experience their first rape between the ages of 11 and 17 and 80% of them have their first rape by the age of 25. If you have three daughters it is likely that one of them will be raped before she is old enough to vote……
8% of children have experienced full on rape but by the time children reach their teens, that number jumps to 30%. If there are 10 kids on the playground then 1 of them has experienced penetrative vaginal or anal sex on their body at least one time. They are not old enough to consent. If there are 10 teenagers then 3 of them have experienced penetrative sex against their will at least one time. If you believe that a child is able to consent to sex then you can believe that Prince Andrew did not rape anyone on Epstein’s island but then you also must be very comfortable with the idea of children having sex with adults……
The increase in sexual violence before 2019 was somewhere close to 3% annually which probably has increased because of the global pandemic placing victims in close proximity with their abusers. Imagine being a child or teenager closed at home with a sexual deviant or being sex trafficked in a time when most people are most upset about masking and vaccination. People will lose their job over whether they get a vaccine but they will question whether Prince Andrew raped teenage girls who were trafficked by a pedofile……
In 2019 the number of rapes and sexual assaults outside of intimate partner situations was close to 1,000,000 that year in the United States with an additional 1,500,000 incidents inside intimate partner relationships in that same year. An intimate partner relationship is a marriage or dating. More rapes and sexual assaults happen when someone is in a relationship where they should be able to be safe in but there are laws in the United States that say that a woman cannot be raped if she ever said “I do” and got married to the man because when she said “I do” it meant that she is consenting to sex every time he wants it and every way he wants it now matter how he wants it because she got married. So by those laws if a man decides that he wants to have his penis sucked while his wife is being penetrated vaginally and anally by anything he wants to see sticking out of her even if it is hurting her and even if it is painful and even if it is causing damage, it is not rape… Because she married him……
In fact, 1 in every 6 women you meet in the United States is likely to be raped this year.
Yes… You read that correctly.
So go to the grocery store and count 1… 2… 3… 4… 5… 6! You get raped…
1… 2… 3… 4… 5… 6! You get raped.
Go ahead and hand that trauma out like Oprah hands out cars because rape and sexual assault is that prevalent.
But what about justice, you say? Me too.…..
On place I found reported the statistics this way to help you wrap your brain around it. For every 1000 sexual assaults and rapes reported which doesn’t include the between 2000 and 4000 more which aren’t reported, about 384 are reported to the police, 57 result in an arrest, 11 are referred to prosecution, 7 result in a felony conviction, and only 6 result in incarceration. Of the rapists and sexual abusers who are reported, only 0.6% are convicted, which is between 0.12% and 0.2% of all rapes and sexual assaults ending in conviction. I know it is difficult to conceptualize a number that small so let me make it easier:
That means that between 99.8% and 99.9% of all rapists and sexual predators never ever face justice for their crimes.
But people want me to feel bad because Prince Andrew is facing social consequences of losing royal titles and having to sell his castle to pay legal bills for raping children because he wasn’t caught by police with his dick inside an underaged girl?? A child?? She wasn’t old enough to consent to be there. She wasn’t old enough to consent to sex. She was being forced into sexual slavery by Epstein and Maxwell. She could not consent. She has faced half her life reeling from having been forced into sexual slavery and being raped day in and day out by Epstein and Bill Clinton and Prince Andrew and so many more… But we should feel bad because he doesn’t get to put the royal seal on anything anymore?? She will spend the rest of her life recovering from what those monsters did to her but we should feel bad because he sold a house to pay his legal bills?
Consent is given in each moment of a sexual encounter. Dressing provocatively does not mean consent. Walking down the street naked does not mean consent. Saying “I Do” in a church does not mean consent. Having agreed to sex at a different time with that person does not mean consent. Wanting to have sex and expressing that means consent and only if you are old enough to consent and you are of sound mind and not under the influence of something.
The person responsible for raping someone is the fucking rapist who fucking chose to rape someone.
Not the victim.
Rape is caused by rapists 100% of the time.
Why does everyone even ask if she said no?
Why aren’t you asking if she said YES???
Why aren’t you asking if he asked???
But some people want me to worry about possible false allegations. It’s okay… I’ve got statistics on those too because only 5% of incidents reported to the police turn out to be false claims. So of the roughly 2,500,000 rapes and sexual assaults that were reported in a given year, that means there are an additional 5,000,000 took place which brings the total to 7,500,000 rapes. Only 2,500,000 were reported and only 20% of those went to the police so 500,000 were reported to the police, and only 5% of those were false allegations, that means that of an estimated 7,500,000 rapes and assaults that took place in a single year, about 25,000 allegations were false. It seems like a lot, sure, but only when you take the time to forget that those 25,000 false allegations are only 0.33% of all rape and sexual assault cases annually.
So are you more worried about 25,000 false accusations then you are worried about the 7,475,000 honest ones??
99.67% of legitimate victims and their legitimate need for justice and accountability are silenced when you make the conversation be about someone being falsely accused instead of making the conversation be about those who are telling the truth.
What was most upsetting about the conversations I encountered on these things was that the people saying this stuff are supposed to be Christian but they obviously have forgotten…
This is hard to read. I want to like it so you know people are reading it but I don’t like how hard it is for me to accept the truth of what you’re telling us. It is horrible to think about how many people are hurt this way and most of them are never going to have the kind of closure of even going past the investigation stage of things.
I hate to believe it because I want to believe that the men who make laws and enforce them are not the kind of men who do this stuff. I hate to believe it because if I get angry about this and want change then maybe that means I’m a feminist and when I grew up feminist was a bad word used to shut up women who were yelling about injustice of the patriarchy. My parents and church would tell me God let things happen for a reason or He made it happen so that the women could do something good with what comes from the trial but…
If being a feminist is bad because you will be outraged over this kind of stuff, then I’m a feminist.

Not all Christian’s believe the way you were told to believe. Not all Christian’s believe in the patriarchy.
