Morning Star

When I lay down my head to sleep
You softly shine your light
Across the sky, your journey far,
Watching though the night
From west to east you travel through
My darkest hours and then
You welcome me in dawn’s soft rays
When I wake up again
Before too long your light will dim
As you go down to rest
But I know when the evening comes
I’ll see you in the west

Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.

(Dumbledore, HP, Rowling)

Sometimes I think we forget that just because we cannot see things it does not mean that they are not present. We only forget that the stars are there because the sun is shining.
