  1. How could I have missed this post? I absolutely love this sonnet. One of my favorite ones, by far.
    As for what you said above….A strange thing happened to me. I went to visit my parents last summer and bumped into my high school love who paid me and my son a surprise visit one day (he’s married too and has a kid). And then, my mom, being so tactful, asked him-So, how does Bojana look to you now? (and me with a frown, implying – Mooooom?! What are you thinking?!) He just smiles and says – Young and pretty, like always. (and me again with an expression – Fuck,where did this come from?!) I’m not good at receiving compliments. But, I’m glad I got this one. Isn’t is beautiful when sb compares thee to a summer’s day?!
