Optimist or Fool?

When someone shows you who they really are, believe them the first time.

-Maya Angelou

Is it the fool or the optimist that has the hardest time with this lesson, I wonder.

  1. After my many decades of life, I still try to believe what I see first. I have to believe. I don’t want to look around me and think that the people are liers and cheats. I believe in the good in people’s hearts. I have rarely had to learn a lesson. I think I will continue on my life as an optimist. The glass is almost always full. The sun is almost (364 days a year) always out and bright. Some days may be tougher than others, but I will try to look at life like this forever. I can only live like this. How else can one fire a pot in a hole in a backyard in August? Love and sunshine inside. Love, Aunt Joan 😉💫😍
